Just a couple of weeks ago, I threw David a surprise birthday party at my house. It was extremely last minute and I couldn't have done it without Dominic scheming with me, and my mom cooking all that delicious food. Thankfully, most of our friends were able to make it to the party, even though it was so last minute. I also baked him a cake from scratch (frosting, too!) which turned out lopsided, but was pretty delicious. It was my first cake made all from scratch, so I think it turned out pretty good, nonetheless. I'm excited to finally see a picture of the cake (thanks to Dominic) since I totally forgot to take pictures of the process of making it and the final creation. So here it is:
