While sifting through the blogs I follow I came across a pretty little post by FRYD + DESIGN showcasing an adorable little kitchen. I found this particular photo to be very cute and very clever. I love it mainly because not only is it truthful and honest, but I've noticed that the people I admire and look up to the most have followed this very motto. They're original, they stay true to themselves, they know who they are and they stick to it. Though it's fine and dandy to want to emulate someone you admire, I find that it is always a wonderful idea to just be yourself and be true to who you are and not try to transform yourself into someone you're not.
Be who the Lord made you, follow your heart and your gut and you can't go wrong.

I have always loved this saying. I think sometimes it's hard to stay true to ourselves, but I agree that it's always the best way to go!

:) its better to be yourself anyway.. knowing that we are uniquely made is a blessing that sometimes disguises itself as and oddity. and who doesn't love and oddity.
